Cartagena closed the season with his latest trophy Badminton (23/06/2014)

The Badminton Club Cartagena closed the season on Saturday, day 21, Jiménez Pavilion Sword Trophy dispute with the club that organized and involving from the smallest to the veterans.

Were a total of 60 matches that were played on a journey of nearly five hours.

These two players will represent the club in Santander in Spain School Championships in sub 15 and sub 17 category.

In category B, the winner was Andrea Conesa, who won the final Belén García and third Nacho Lopez defeated Margarita Lopez.

In the veterans category was won by Pedro Caparros-Inma Mateo defeated in three sets 21-18, 19-21 and 21-18 after 35 minutes the couple Narrow Diego Lucas-Salva. Third place went to Mariano Gimenez- José Fernández Caro imposing Paco Conesa-Raul.

The trophy was for Andrea regularly Conesa (champion) and Raquel Rodríguez (runner-up) and in the men Samuel Espejo (champion) and Antonio Rudder (runner-up) and there were medals for the rest of the players.

The club president Pedro Caparros Diego Ortega delivered a plaque in recognition of his work on behalf of Badminton and also received another plaque Pablo Caparros, as a reward for his work as a technician over the season.
