The Cabinet has given its approval to the signing of an agreement between the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Enterprise and Innovation and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) which will provide a permanent infrastructure to support technology in the field of documentation of historic vehicles.

For this, the UPCT available to the Directorate General of Industry, Energy and Mines laboratory for inspection and report prior to the cataloging of historic vehicles, infrastructure facilities located in Fuente Álamo Technology Park.

The agreement includes collaboration in scientific and technological support in cataloging of historic vehicles, the development of technical documentation and procedures for staff training.

It also includes support for research and innovation in areas related to this field, simplifying the administrative procedure for the registration of a historic vehicle, and the development of a computer application to align the criteria for cataloging.
