Young researchers Cartagena encourage college students to get started in R & D + i (07/05/2014)

The Association of Young Researchers of Cartagena (AJICT) Wednesday noted the importance of budgetary allocations for R & D + i are not reduced, and aid for research.

This was stated by its president, Ramón Ruiz, during the opening ceremony of the Seventh Conference on Introduction to Research, organized by the Faculty of Business UPCT.

At the start of this event, which runs until this Friday, May 9, attended by the Director General of Universities of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia (CARM), Luis Javier Lozano Blanco, and the Director General for Research and Innovation CARM, Celia Martinez Mora.

Both stressed the importance of it to raise awareness among the university community the work of researchers and the research you currently working on UPCT.

"It is important that not only do quality research but also the topics that are chosen are aligned with the needs that the Region of Murcia," said Luis Javier Lozano.

Meanwhile, Celia Martinez has emphasized the value of this conference to involve new generations of researchers in a practical way, recognizing "the connection between the business and high technology industry UPCT is a whole key to stability socioeconomic ".

Finally, AJICT president, Ramón Ruiz, has encouraged college students to join the research career after completing their studies.

In this sense, AJICT offers to relocate those affected all the information necessary to know what is the process to follow to start a career in R & D + i apply for a fellowship or a doctoral dissertation.
