David Fernández Sifres be the next star of the meetings with authors organized the Network of Municipal Libraries, sharing with students in 3rd and 4th primary impressions about his book Lights in the channel, Steamer 2013 award.
The writer Leon is on Tuesday 8 April at the Library Rafael Rubio, from 9.30 to 11.00 hours with students in school s Gabriela Mistral and San Cristóbal;
from 11.15 to 12.15 hours with students from schools Our Lady of Sorrows;
and from 12.30 to 13.45 hours with students of Sacred Heart College.
On Wednesday, April 9 will be in the library of the Centro Cultural Luzzy Ramón Alonso and Rafael Rubio, two meetings, the first at 9.30 am with students from schools in the valley and Fernando Garrido, and the second meeting to 12.00 with Azorin College students.
AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY
David Fernández Sifres born in León in 1976.
He graduated in law and official Superior Technical Traffic Rank.
He combines this work with his literary vocation.
Although he began writing short story, a genre which has been awarded nearly a dozen times in recent years he has turned to children's literature, where it has already received major awards: the Alandar Prize for children's literature 2011 granting Edelvives publisher for his novel The Lighthouse absent woman, Ala Delta Children's Literature Award 2012, from the same publisher, by a intruder in my notebook, El Barco de Vapor 2013, Award of children's literature, which Awarded the SM publisher for his novel Light in the channel, and CCEI Prize 2013, also by a intruder in my notebook.
Sifres was also a finalist in the Hache Awards, organized by the Youth Council alongside Mandarache Awards last year.
