Consumption encourages citizens to exercise their right to claim (14/03/2014)

Future Telecommunications Act, which is pending in Congress, will control more closely the mobile companies, protagonists of most inquiries and complaints, to 1,259, collected in the last year OMIC

On Saturday March 15 the Day of Consumers' Rights and is commemorated on this occasion, the council of the City of Cartagena consumption, Alonso Gómez, has appealed to citizens by encouraging them to complain when they feel violated those rights by of businesses, professionals or businesses, in the exercise of their respective activities.

Another measure is the imminent reform of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users to adapt to the Directive of the European Union.

Among other reforms, including expanding the duties of pre-contractual information to be provided to consumers and users, providing the consumer the right to the entrepreneur will deliver the goods within a maximum period of 30 calendar days or egular so-called covert loads particularly in respect of distance contracts, ensuring the information to assist the user on the means of payment.

A complaints about mobile and fixed telephony in Cartagena, followed the provisions relating to consultation fees, and debit cards in banks, restoration, and mortgage loans, sales of appliances and the like; public entertainment, electricity, furniture and decoration, etc..
