Explain researchers and companies Teleco how winning the projects funded by the EU (06/03/2014)

A day UPCT, INFO and Technology Center today explained ICT researchers and companies in the Information Technology and Communication how potentially successful attend to calls for funding European research projects.

To help its researchers to capture European funding and collaboration with other institutions, has UPCT European Projects Office (OPECT).

Since its creation applications to EU research programs have increased fourfold from 10 requests 2009 to 40 last year.

This 300% increase has also contributed the decline of national research funding and increased internationalization of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, as responsible for the OPECT.

Researchers presenting UPCT European research projects achieved a success rate of about 10%.

The day has unveiled the thematic and the keys to develop successful applications for projects in 'Horizon 2020'.

The new Framework Programme for Research and Innovation of the European Union 'Horizon 2020' opens an opportunity of funding for research centers and SMEs in the ICT sector, as well as synergies with other disciplines.
