Boluda Towage and Salvage, the division of port and height Boluda Maritime Corporation, is training its personnel on board in the Integrated Vocational Training Centre Hesperides, in Cartagena, in a specific course for specialists Boluda mechanics, enabling them to act as officers and chief engineer on merchant ships of up to 6,000 kw.
This is the third edition of these courses, which to date has trained in that specialty to 34 workers.
José Luis González, Director of Boluda Towage and Salvage Spain, yesterday received at the port of Cartagena to Ms. Marta Lopez-Briones, Director General of Training and Special Regime which was accompanied by Mr.
Antonio Arroyo, director of the Center for Integrated FP Hesperides.

All present boarded the tug VB Hasdrubal and found the work done on the tugs, which allowed them to spot check the skills acquired through specific training, the sailors who work on boats Boluda company.
Later in the PFIC Hesperides, D.
Antonio Arroyo, accompanied by teachers at the school, presented the methodologies and simulators used for training of maritime professionals, and explained that the acquired knowledge and skills are required by the company, which credits the success of these courses.
José Luis González thanked everyone for their availability and flexibility, also noting that "in Boluda training is part of the DNA of the company, where we appreciate the value of our employees, who are great professionals and that, from now , it will be much more. "
Meanwhile, Ms Marta López-Briones said that "if our schools taught in training is tailored to the needs of business, success is assured."
