The College of Industrial Engineers, and Pust create a Chair to promote employability (10/02/2014)

The Association of Industrial Engineers and Industrial Branch Grades Murcia Engineering and Polytechnic University of Cartagena narrowed further its links with the collaboration agreement signed today for creating the COITIRM Chair, with the initials of the College.

The new Chair of the College, will offer numerous services to students of industrial engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical and Electronics and Automation) UPCT, all aimed at the introduction to the professional world, highlighting the practical training aspects, the technical conferences The CPD Accreditation Engineers, tote employment, internships, the International Relocation Plan and other awards based on the curricular excellence, EOG and research projects.

With this Chair, UPCT strengthens its links with the Technical College while seeking to "promote the employability of students and enhance the School of Industrial and Energy Practices (IPSS)" Engineers, as explained by the director of the School of Industrial, Antonio Guillamón.

Being the largest UPCT (about 2,000 students) student group, this chair is of vital importance and will definitely strengthen cooperation to date has existed between the University and the Professional School, while the benefit of the future engineers and society.

The ceremony was attended by the rector UPCT Jose Antonio Franco, the director of the School of Industrial Engineering (ETSII) UPCT Guillamón Antonio, and the Dean of the College of Industrial Engineers of the Region of Murcia and President the COGITI, José Antonio Galdón.
