The Municipal Archaeological Museum reopens with new products (28/01/2014)

The Municipal Archaeological Museum Enrique Escudero de Castro is ready to receive more visitors. Today reopens its doors after the work carried out inside that assumed its temporary closure in December.

There remain works the rest of the roof over the galleries where the exhibitions. There is still no specific date for the start of this remodeling, but more likely to take place in summer, said the councilman.

One is the new design of Teaching Guide on Latin epigraphy that teaches how to interpret the inscriptions.

The center is committed to give a more significant illustrations of this publication with images that attract both young and old paper.

It is designed so that it attracts from the novice to the expert, at all levels.

This new edition has also received scientific advice from several experts in the field, and with the collaboration of the Spanish Society of Classical Studies and Murcia Association of Teachers of Latin and Greek.

Also new is the addition of three new entries in the permanent collection.

The opening to the public is the Archaeological Museum, Tuesday to Friday from 10.00 to 14.00 h and from 17.00 to 20.00, and Saturday and Sunday from 11.00 to 14.00 h.
