MC criticizes the poor condition of hits to Cartagena (17/01/2014)

Accumulation of garbage, abandoned roundabouts, fences or guardrails falls with punches of vehicles are not replaced, are proof of the neglect

There is no possible comparison in this respect with other large cities near the port city

Citizens Movement (MC) has been tracking the condition and cleanliness of hits to Cartagena, ie, public spaces that give a first image visitors, shedding such monitoring that first impression people accessing the city can not be more miserable.

While it is true that first impressions are everything, any person accessing Cartagena by these routes will be amazed at the lack of cleanliness, garbage accumulation, total abandonment of roundabouts and dead spaces or no vegetation and billboards, road signs and guardrails fall protection torn or damaged vehicle from bumps and are not replaced.

In order that requires anyone involved, Regional Government, State Highway Network, or City of Cartagena, the immediate repair of damage and general state of neglect, since in several places trash and weeds that invade in some driveways cases, MC will make an appropriate motion at the next Full Council to remedy this fact.

Similarly, MC described as "intolerable" this state of neglect, especially considering that access to Cartagena in no way correspond to Murcia capital and other large cities nearby.

MC will also request a deadline for sterile cleaning accumulated Potasas old company, passing by the main access route to Cartagena, and gives a tremendously unfortunate industrial graveyard picture, all linked to odors generated in the treatment plant near the Cartagena-Murcia motorway.

Finally, considering that no other access and missing funds projects such as the still closed Corvera airport, Paramount park aid, or exit lanes to the beaches of the Mar Menor Murcia capital ever since, MC wants to remember that the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia Cartagena also formed.
