Firefighters are updated in rescue techniques in traffic accidents (05/12/2013)

The Municipal Fire Fighting Service of Cartagena is underway, as every year, a mandatory training module template for firefighters, rescue techniques on traffic accidents, in order to maintain current knowledge and practice staff.

For two weeks, each of the five shifts of staff receive a day of theoretical training and one day practical training for technological advances applied to driving and to the rescue in order to save lives.

The theoretical development is based on Intervention Protocol, which addresses issues ranging from the placement of rescue vehicles to descarcelación own, through protective measures or care for victims, among others.

The main object of the descarcelación is getting enough to maneuver and remove the victim space, trying not to cause any damage added.

This is carried out cutting, opening, separation, deformation, etc. uprising.

The technique used depends on the position of the vehicle and trapping the victim, among other aspects to consider.
