Telefónica future talent captured in Cartagena Polytechnic (27/11/2013)

Dozens of students and recent graduates of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) today participated in a selection process Telefonica to capture a minimum of six new fellows Talentum.

Those selected will receive 500 euros a month for six months and the future is plowed in the multinational.

The Cartagena is the only Spanish university, with the Polytechnic of Madrid, in which Talentum trainees will practice in the institution, with the addition of Telefónica Chairs Network UPCT.

Talentum is a paid fellowship program of Telefónica, intended primarily for engineers and techies, as it developed into an innovative and technological environment.

The Talentum fellows develop their activity in the Telefónica Chair ELDI UPCT building.

"After a period of six months with a scholarship part-time will have the option of directly integrated into Telefónica and to begin an exciting future in one of the leading companies in the ICT sector," says the Vice Chancellor for Information Technology and Communications Juan Luis Pedroza.

In the words of Vice Chancellor Pedreño, "to date, these calls for scholarships, have ensured the employability of all selected in the company upon completion of the scholarship, we must seize this opportunity."

The scholarships are aimed at university under 30 years in the areas of Telecommunications Engineering, Industrial and Business Administration, among others.
