The Centro Cultural y Deportivo de La Palma has called the Floral Games XLI Field Cartagena and XX National Youth Poetry Contest, in both cases setting a deadline for submission of papers ending February 7, 2014 and should be sent to the Secretary Cultural Center specifying the call.
A Floral Games all poets who wish to work must be unpublished and in Spanish, which should be about the topic The Church may be submitted.
The winner will receive a prize of 1,300 euros and Natural Flower for best poetry.
As Youth Poetry Award, is aimed j oung between 12 and 18 years, who must also submit unpublished works, but in this case, the theme is free.
The awards are divided into two categories, the first of 12 to 14 years, with a diploma and $ 350, and the second category of 15 to 18 years, awarded a diploma and 600 euros.
The awards ceremony of both poetry competitions took place on March 8, 2014, at 21.30 pm in the Civic Center of La Palma.
