The Local Police have seized Cartagena so far this year more than eight thousand fake and about five tons of prerecederos.
The products have been seized mostly in markets where the work has intensified surveillance and control agents against this type of fraud.
As explained by the local police sources, these seizures arise from crimes against intellectual property, seizing illegal copies of movies on DVD's and CD's of music, as well as clothing and accessories imitation.
We have also removed the perishables for illegal hawking such as garlic, melons, potatoes, tomatoes, tangerines, peppers, lemons, oranges, pumpkins and more.
Cartagena Local Police reminded that illegal hawking and lack the required municipal license or official authorization is a serious offense under the provisions of the Municipal Ordinance for regulating the practice of selling standing outside shops, punishing these actions with fines up to $ 3,000, plus the seizure of the products on sale.
