Great day that college students have lived San Fulgencio de Pozo Strait, seeing and approaching the world of swimming athletes hand as Margarita Dominguez European champion open water, his sister Paloma, and Sergio Fuster, the Club Swimming Ancora.
The day is framed within the ADE Program to the Department of Sports City of Cartagena, began with a theoretical part on technical aspects, by projecting footage on swimming and medley, breaststroke, front crawl, backstroke and butterfly.
Then a video on the participation of the Spanish Swimming Federation in the Olympics in London 2012, in their different disciplines.
Students posed questions to the athletes, asking about how they were the beginning and the training regime.
The most awaited for schoolchildren was the practice, which was developed at the municipal pool Well Strait.
The students, dressed in their swimsuits as monitors and taking exception to Margarita, Paloma and Sergio, practiced swimming and enjoyed for over forty minutes in the water.
The activity was also present, Paco Dominguez, president of the Swimming Federation of the Region of Murcia, who went to the school to talk about the athletes and told some stories.
Students writing jobs performed on the three athletes, which aroused the interest of these.
In short, a holiday for students and teachers from CEIP San Fulgencio, with swimming and elite athletes.
For this course, one of the ADE program objectives, is to bring athletes in our city schools to meet and interact with students in the school itself.
This event is organized by the ADE program the Department of Sports City of Cartagena, and has the support of the Directorate General of Sports of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, the Association of Graduates of Physical Education and Sports of the Region of Murcia.
