The stars lead the two days on Archaeoastronomy in the Roman Theatre Museum (16/10/2013)

Councillor of Culture has been responsible for opening the course in which archeology and astronomy are merged resulting in an interdisciplinary science that will be studied during 16 and 17 October in the Auditorium of the Theatre Museum Roman

Councillor for Culture, Rosario Montero, has been responsible for opening this morning at the Roman Theatre Museum Archeoastronomy during a training proposal pioneer in the city and conducted jointly by Cartagena Port of Cultures, the International University Menéndez Pelayo and Astronomical Society of Cartagena.

Two days in which participants will address the significance of the astronomy at the archaeological sites of Cartagena, and how it conditioned its final location, in the words of Montero.

Archaeoastronomy is an interdisciplinary science, argued Joseph Bonnet, president of the Astronomical Association of Cartagena, which identifies culture with reference to the beliefs of ancient civilizations and myths.
