The Theatre School this course reaches the stage of El Batel (01/10/2013)

With the backing of a share, last year, about 5,000 students from 32 schools, today presented the Educational Theatre Municipal Campaign, Educateatro, which collaborate for the fourth year, the city of Cartagena and Cajamar , and that this edition has two new features.

The first is to be held in the Auditorium El Batel, instead of at the Cultural Center Ramón Alonso Luzzi as to date.

And the other is that the campaign is not confined only to the city of Cartagena, but is open to schools across the region.

In the presentation to the media, have appeared the Councillor for Education, Joseph Marotta, the director of Cultural and Social Programs Cajamar, Carmen María Giménez, and the regional director of the company, Manuel Pasquin.

Maroto emphasized two issues, the importance of theater in shaping the cultural base of the students and the great interest aroused in them such campaigns, as evidenced by the fact that since the opening of the deadline to apply for participation in this initiative have already signed 27 centers, including 7 outside Cartagena, representing 3,781 students, and there is still time, which we believe will exceed the previous edition.

To cope with the increase in participation, the councilor added, is the change of scenery, as the Municipal Auditorium has a larger capacity and allow more kids to attend as audience.

School Theatre The campaign begins on October 15, with the representation of Love of Don Perlimplín Belisa in the Garden, aimed at students of 2nd ESO and Bachiller cycle, and end on June 3 with The Secret Wenceslas for Infant and Primary. Altogether 16 works will be seven for Children, eight for the first year of primary school, another eight for the second year of primary school, four for the third cycle, four for ESO and two Bachelor.

Both Carmen María Manuel Gimenez Pasquini, were satisfied with the fruits that during the past four years, has been working with the City and announced that, despite the crisis, their identity will continue to pursue the continuation of this program face to contribute to the training of future citizens.

All works will be represented at 12.00 am in Conference Room B of the Tender, even in those in which the demand is very high, there will be a double session at 10.00 and 12.00 hours.
