Over two hundred people took part in this sporting event, held on the occasion of the festivities in the town of Cartagena, which was run in two modes, one for children, and a second focused on adults
The sport was the protagonist on 14 September in the town of Cartagena de Molinos Marfagones in full celebration of their patron saint.
Councillor for Sports, Diego Ortega, was commissioned to make the honors in the third edition of Cross Duathlon bringing together two hundred people, young and old, who remain faithful to this summer event.
Along with the mayor were the coaches of the test, José María Navarro Sopli Carlini, Salvador Rosillo and Juan José Alcaraz.
This competition also served to pay tribute to deceased neighbor broker, Andrew Bermejo, remember posthumously collected his excited wife.
Returning to the pitch, this third edition had two runs: the first for children up to 14 years with 2 kilometers long and the second for adults with 4.5 miles on foot race, 13 miles on a mountain bike and 4 others , 5 miles running.
Most noteworthy is that the proposed circuit was liked by all athletes as they enjoyed the scenery offered by the Ramblas and the area of â€‹â€‹Cartagena in the western, in a natural setting in which there are several protected species of native plants.
The Third Cross Duathlon is organized by the Festival Committee and the Neighborhood Association Marfagones Mills, in collaboration with the Department of Sports, Local Police, Civil Protection of the City of Cartagena and volunteers of Club Deportivo La Soledad.
