Unanimity in the Finance Committee (11/09/2013)

The Finance Committee on Interior Informative met this morning, chaired by the councilor of the area, Fatima Suanzes.

The four groups, PP, PSOE, IU-Green and Citizens Movement have been in favor of the report on the fulfillment of budgetary stability parameters and cost containment, to June 30, 2013.

According to the Councillor, intervention services have turned City Hall into the computer system of the Ministry of Finance all the economic data at that time, for the city of Cartagena and its autonomous bodies.

The system after applying a series of formulas has resulted in a consolidated compliance of budgetary stability objectives set by the law and the rule of cost containment, which can not exceed 1.7 percent compared to last year .

These r esources assumed that current and capital on a consolidated nonfinancial enough to finance all the expenses of the City and its autonomous bodies until the same date, surpassing the growth rate of GDP in the medium term of the Spanish economy calculated by the Ministry of Economy as the methodology used by the European Commission (SEC 95), which stood at 1.7 percent.

This report is complementary to the Adjustment Plan, which is also done by quarters, and analyzes the degree of implementation of revenue and expenses.

The Finance Committee also unanimously given the green light to the nomination of the Plaza Antonio Piana Segado, in tribute to the great singer Cartagena, whose birth s and now meets the centenary.
