The City Council awards 109.000 euros to social action organizations to tackle the summer (08/08/2013)

The Department of Social Services has been delivering since last July to aid social action organizations with which it works through agreements, grants that, in total, have reached 109,000 euros.

With the money, these organizations dedicated to helping the needy, may meet with some backlash over the summer and the months following.

Entities that have received these grants are Caritas Good Samaritan Hospital of Santa Teresa, Food Bank, Sisters of the Poor, Home for Children and The Huertecica.
