In the neighborhood of Santa Lucia are about to begin the festivity in honor of St. James, to be held from 20 to July 27 and n the dock, the local office, and the parish of Santiago, with religious ceremonies, games, sports and musical performances.
The festivities kick off on Saturday 20, with the first test Mercury Trophy Regatta Sail America, at 5 pm, a child gymkhana and popular games for kids and Night Rociera in which Alma and Solera act.
On Sunday 21 will host the s econd Regatta test, this time in the morning and, after a convivial meal, walk Vela Latina and musical performance, and at night.
Throughout the week, championships will also be held games like ludo and dominoes, dancing, musical performances and workshops for children.
As for religious events, there will be a Triduum in honor of the patron, St. James, which will begin on Monday, July 22, starting at 8pm.
After the Eucharist will take place the Proclamation of Exaltation, by Jose Vera Sanchez, Big Brother of the Holy and Royal Charity Hospital.
This event was attended by Councilman Decentralization, Ángel Nicolás Bernal.
The Triduum will continue on Tuesday and Wednesday, at the same time, 8 pm, in the parish of St. James.
In addition, the 25, day of St. James, will be offering Floral and procession of the Holy, and a Eucharist, at 20.00 hours, which is due to attend District Councilwoman Maria Jose Roca.
The festivities will end on Saturday July 27 with cucaña maritime finale lunch, awards ceremony, musical performances and, as a brooch, fireworks display, starting at 24 hours.
