317 pages of tribute to Pedro San Martín Moro (11/07/2013)

The mayor today introduced the number 9 Mastia Magazine, published by the Municipal Archaeological Museum Enrique Escudero de Castro, dedicated this year to former museum director and driving force behind the recovery of our heritage

Therefore, the number 9 Mastia magazine, published by the Archaeological Museum Enrique Escudero de Castro, has been prepared as a monograph in homage to the figure of Pedro San Martin, 317 pages devoted to who is considered the father of the archeology of Cartagena, who died last February, teacher of teachers because many of the top pros today directed excavations in the city learned under his influence, as the mayor explained, Pilar Barreiro, during the presentation of the magazine, in which was accompanied by the general coordinator of Archaeology, Maria Comas.

HERITAGE REPORTING

Mastia, scientific journal devoted to archeology, was founded in 1972 as a newsletter sponsored by the Municipal Board of Archaeology.

Its aim was to disseminate archaeological activities were held in Cartagena and the work of restoration and conservation.
