Vacant Beach, Solana's gaze in the ARQUA (27/05/2013)

The National Museum of Underwater Archaeology Cartagena has a new temporary exhibition Vacant Beach, the painter Francisco Solana. The exhibition, which opened on Thursday May 23 by the Councillor for Culture, Maria del Rosario Montero, and Museum Director Xavier Nieto, along with the author of this exhibition, Francisco sunshine, will remain open until June 30.

Vacant Beach is the first solo exhibition in the field of photography of Francisco Solana, having trained as a photographer selected participated in the Biennial of the End of the World in Ushuaia (Argentina) and Zurich (Switzerland).

As a painter, his most famous, Solana, has won several awards, including the X Prize for Painting at the University of Murcia in 2009 and has had numerous solo exhibitions.
