An exhibition in honor of St. Rita, patroness of officials (22/05/2013)

On the occasion of the feast of the patron of officials, Santa Rita, public employees of the City of Cartagena are commemorating this day since last week.

Thus, within the program of cultural activities planned, on Friday May 17, the Councillor for Culture, Maria del Rosario Montero, Santa Rita opened the exhibition: paintings, models and photographs, at the Cultural Center Luzzy Ramon Alonso (c / Jacinto Benavente, 7).

In addition to the municipal functionaries f, some guests have exhibited their work in this popular exhibition, making this edition one of the most popular to date.

In total, visitors can see works by fourteen authors listed below: María José Hernández, Manolo Ponce, María Dolores Veites, Paloma Rodriguez del Castillo, Eusebio Martinez, Fernando Ortuño, Flay Martinez, Passion Pedrero, Domingo Perez, Incarnation Valverde, Pepa Sotos, Ana Gonzalez, Rosana Antonia Marin and Narrow.

Open to the public until May 30, the exhibition is characterized by free artistic expression, which promotes the richness of the sample because you can see from autumn landscapes, pictures of the Town Hall, sea, snow expeditions, models ships, to children's characters from Disney as Mickey and Minnie.

By popular vote three awards will be given for each mode to the work performed.

This exhibition is part of the program of activities planned for the feast of St. Rita, celebrated today. Yet public employees of the City of Cartagena, and by mutual agreement, have decided to move the celebration to Friday May 24, day when the doors of the administrative offices will be closed to the public.
