International Cooperation as a career opportunity for young Cartagena (09/05/2013)

The Youth Council and Adesh today signed a cooperation agreement that will allow newly qualified young people in the Region of Murcia or minimal running experience teaching duties in Latin American countries

The president of the Youth Council of Cartagena, Manuel Soler, and the president of the Foundation for the Promotion and Development of Latin America, Adesh, Paul Sagastibelza, have signed this morning the cooperation agreement signed between the two entities and enable young recent graduates Cartagena centers in the Region of Murcia, or with a minimum of professional experience, develop teaching assignments at universities in Latin American countries.

Thanks to this agreement, the Youth Council will become the bridge that will enable the Cartagena to develop international cooperation projects, stressed Soler, who added that in addition to performing as a cultural and professional experience, promote the transmission and exchange knowledge, while the mark Spain land in other countries.

The two lines of work in that frame this project are international volunteering, and most important, teaching tasks aimed at newly qualified young Cartagena or minimal experience, as explained by the president of Adesh, who has also announced that in early 2014 some 50 young people, at least, of various academic disciplines will head to different countries demanding.

Delving further into this agreement, after the selection interview in which values ​​experience, academic knowledge and teaching ability, those selected will receive prior training about the culture of the destination country, the expectations that are placed on work or on the relevant institution.

Also, the minimum stay is six months, and it will link the availability to travel and the desire to work and continue learning.

Soler confident that the expectations for this agreement will be met, while Sagastibelza has highlighted the historical link that connects Cartagena and Latin America. The signing of this agreement marks the beginning of a work process between the two entities in order to facilitate the training of young Cartagena.
