Councillor for Education, Joseph Marotta, receive morning students and teachers participating in the Comenius Project, Europe on Air (Europe on Air), hosted by the CEIP Bilingüe Our ​​Lady of Sorrows, which develops along with four other European centers of Finland, Wales, Ireland and Austria, this educational program.
The event will take place at 11.00 hours in the Reception Room and attended by around 35 people.
This European project is based on the importance of new technologies, enabling communication between students for educational purposes, mainly focusing on the development of ICT and school literacy.
Asimsimo, mobility of students plays a key role since it allows students to be citizens of the world, providing real contexts to develop learning skills.
In short, Europe on the air gives voice to young people through the creation of a secure social network using media with which they are more familiar (video, photography and the Internet), and the Moodle learning platform underlying for the exchange of information and will host radio station.
Also, thanks to these actions, it helps to improve the employability of students, preparing for insertion into the labor market.
