The full City Council has approved the Cartagena unanimously this morning an official statement in support of the factory workers of Navantia.
Over four political groups expressed their support primarily to industrial activity taking place in the group Navantia as tech business and now mainly exporting their products, with consequent benefits national economy.
Also request the Central Government to support commercial activities that the group Navantia is currently ongoing in order to win contracts.
In this sense also urge Navantia to address trade policy review that is taking both the engine plant as in the Cartagena area repairs in order to open new markets so that the workload in Today is almost zero, will be increased substantially.
The institutional statement ends asking Navantia Cartagena direction that all work to be generated in the factory in Cartagena reverse directly into the regional economy, becoming a dynamic element and protecting local industry helping to alleviate unemployment in our region.
