3500 readers will vote and Hache Mandarache Awards next week (05/04/2013)

On Monday, April 8, at 08.00 hours, will start voting, through the project website www.premiomandarache.es to elect Prize winning authors and Mandarache Young Reader Prize for Literature Hache Children, organized by the Youth Council of the City of Cartagena.

The deadline will be Thursday 11 April at 20.00 hours.

The next day, Friday 12, at 12.00, a representation of young readers and Hache Mandarache shall live unveiling press winners of both awards. The event will take place at the Palace Hall.

More than 3,800 people are participating in the eighth edition of Project Training Mandarache Readers Cartagena.

A jury of 2,000 young people between 15 and 30 will vote the disputed Mandarache Young Reader Prize, while a second teen readers composed of 12 to 14 years will choose the winner of the Youth Literature Hache.

These young jurors, join the nearly 300 members of the Network Reading Club Award Mandarache over 30 years and no voting rights, but they have had the chance to meet the writers democratic candidates for these awards in the series of meetings organized each year by the Youth Council.

The Mandarache this year has had some Finalists exception, throughout the school year have visited Cartagena to introduce readers to their works.

Manuel Rivas is his novel Everything is silent (Alfaguara, 2010-reading Point, 2011), Clara Sanchez What hides your name (Destiny, 2010-Booket, 2011) and Vicente Luis Mora for his novel Cromm Alba ( Seix Barral, 2010).

Regarding Hache Award, is played by the writer Lola Beccaría by Zero (Planeta, 2011), Alfredo Gómez Cerdá's face the shadow (SM, 2011), and David Fernandez Sifres for women Lighthouse absent ( Edelvives, 2011).

The two winning authors will return to Cartagena on May 7 to collect their awards from the Mayor of Cartagena in a ceremony, conceived by the stage director Nieves Pérez Abad, in the Auditorium The Batel.

Both prizes have a cash prize of 3,000 euros respectively and a layback r à ngel sculpture Haro.

Furthermore Mandarache Prize and the Prize Hache (a winning authors), there are six additional awards to eligible youth enrolled and teaching departments or entities not teachers.
