Admission to municipal kindergartens will open on April 2 (08/03/2013)

The Local Government of the City of Cartagena has this morning approved the criteria for admission of students in eight schools for the academic year 2013-2014 municipal whose p loop will open on April 2.

The scale will be similar to last year, which should be paramount in registration in the municipality, along with labor and economic circumstances of families.

As explained by the spokesman of the government team the minimum age of students is four months and maximum of 2 years since the municipal infant escualas serving children of 0-3 years.

The deadline will be from 2 to 30 April 2013 inclusive.

Renewal applications will be presented from 2 to 16 April and the middle of moving from 2 to 9 April.

All of them can still be made ​​through the website of the City and may be applied to three schools in order of preference.

Scoring criteria are:

Employment status of parents, guardians or legal representatives, to a maximum of 20 points.

Per capita income of the family unit, to a maximum of 12 points.

Enrollment of siblings in the same school, to a maximum of 6 points.

Other circumstances, up to 7 points.

Municipal Register, being enumerated household in the municipality of Cartagena 50 points will be obtained.

Cartagena City Council has eight municipal kindergartens located in El Algar, Barrio de Peral, Barrio de la Concepción, Old Town, Los Mateos, Villalba, Slum Lady of Charity and Vista Alegre.

In July, students can attend enrolled who wish, giving preference to children of working parents.
