Next Thursday, March 7, at 18.30 hours, will open the exhibition together, Planate FEMMES, and HALF THE SKY, on the occasion of International Women's Day, on Friday, March 8.
The event takes place in the Exhibition Hall on the ground floor of the Faculty of Sciences of the UPCT Company (former barracks Seamanship Instruction).
HALF THE SKY is a selection of images, product Training Workshop, Women, held in the month of February, IMPLICA2 Program. The objective of this training was to provide a set of tools to the participants so they could show a different perspective of women.
Was presented as a way to express ideas and emotions, as well as gender and equal opportunities through photography.
A meeting to exchange opinions on equality between women and men, taking into account aspects of ethnicity, class and sexuality and contributing to building a cooperative and responsible citizenship.
Meanwhile, Planate FEMMES, is the result of the s econd edition of international photography contest organized by the Alliance Franà § aise Foundation under the name, Metro Women, in collaboration with the International Mail and Marie-Claire, and the participation more than 200 Alliance Française of 80 countries with about 1,000 photos.
Moreover, during the opening of the exhibition will receive their diplomas to participants Training Workshop, Women, taught by Francisco José Sánchez Montalbán, Professor of Photography at the School of Fine Arts at the University of Granada.
This exhibition is organized by The Foundation Alliance Franà § aise, the Alliance Française de Cartagena and IMPLICA2 Program of the Youth Council of the City of Cartagena, in collaboration with the Department of UPCT and Women.
The exhibition will be open until Thursday, March 21, Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 21.00 hours, while on Saturdays from 09.00 to 14.00 hours.
