The mayor, Pilar Barreiro, today opened the campaign building
Mountains toy p ara illusion, no child without a toy, located in the central courtyard of the Administration Building San Miguel Street.
The event was attended by the Councillor for Social Care, Antonio Calderon, and the Councillor for Festivities, Florentina Garcia and representatives of the various entities that collaborate in the campaign of 2012: A Regional ssembly, the Artillery Regiment Flak 73, Arsenal, Rhea 2 Health, medical centers Practiser and Our Lady of Charity, the CAM, Cajamurcia, the English Court, Carrefour, Eroski, ONCE, the AECC, Red Cross, the Federation of Associations of Neighbors, the Youth Council and UPCT.
Pilar Barreiro has highlighted the important host of this year's campaign, which began last December 5, in which more than twenty companies have collaborated.
In addition and as a novelty, people who go to Cartagena this collection point can enjoy Christmas Bethlehem that is exposed in the center of the courtyard.
The work, donated by the English Court, is the work of Francisco Cánovas Carter who has explained to the Mayoress passages each Christmas.
The toy collection campaign will close on December 28 but the application period will be open until 4 January.
