The Roman Theatre Museum in Cartagena opens Monday 12 Enrolment for the course on sculpture, The power of images.
The museum has organized the course, which forms part of the temporary exhibition González Beltrán, sculptures, displayed in the Museum of the Roman Theatre and the MURAM.
This has wanted to organize a monographic course on the power of images throughout history in collaboration with the city of Cartagena, Murcia University and the Foundation González Beltrán.
In this course will draw sculpture as artistic and plastic form that reflects a society and its beliefs, gods and men, myths and legends, images of power and beauty ideals.
The series will conclude with a panel discussion on the sculptures of González Beltrán, and a guided tour of the exhibition of the artist's hand.
All these issues will be addressed by various renowned specialists who appreciate your cooperation and efforts aimed at a better understanding of the history, art and culture.
Classes will be held Mondays and Wednesdays at the Roman Theatre at 20 hours.
