The mayor, Pilar Barreiro, opened this morning at 10.30 hours the Day International Day of Rural Women in the auditorium of the Faculty of Business at the University of Cartagena (UPCT) located in the former CIM.
The conference entitled the Hut of Science, includes a program of activities to be held in Cartagena and other cities in the region, organized by the Department of Women of the City of Cartagena, the Association of Family and Women in Rural the Region of Murcia (AFAMMER), the Equality Unit of the National Association UPCT and Research Students Siglo XXI.
About 200 women from different parts of the region will discuss the relationship between science and women, as well as environmental and ecological agriculture.
Also taught two workshops, one on October 17 in Santa Ana on Nutrition Eating Well for this summer, and another on October 18 on the Chemistry Totana hidden in the kitchen.
