The UIMP conducted in October its first course in Cartagena (30/07/2012)

With the First Forum Tourism In El Siglo XXI, scheduled for days 3, 4 and 5 October, the path starts from the headquarters of the International University Menéndez Pelayo in the city, following the agreement signed by the university itself, the City Council and the Chamber of Commerce

The headquarters of the International University Menéndez Pelayo in Cartagena will begin its journey in the city with the First Forum Tourism in the XXI century, the policy and legal framework of tourism, which will be held on 3, 4 and 5 October.

The course, which consists of 14 academic sessions and will feature eleven speakers, to analyze the regulatory response to the government, together with the private sector have to give the new reality to facilitate tourism development.

As of September 18 will be open enrollment period.

This is the first activity of the Menéndez Pelayo in Cartagena, whose permanent home is the result of an agreement signed last year the Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, the rector of the UIMP, Salvador Ordonez and the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Miguel Martinez .

The Institutional Standing Center UIMP in Cartagena, is located in the building of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Cartagena, in the spring of Alfonso XII, but also has the Auditorium and Conference Centre The Batel, Palacio Molina and the Roman Theatre Museum, all assigned for use by the City.

Among the topics that will focus on the courses taught in Cartagena, will emphasize the sectors that stand out in the city, such as tourism, the core of this first training activity of the university.
