The hotels in the city and the city of Cartagena have come together to make a special offer of accommodation and activities during the month of August, lowering prices and giving a tour every day.
All hotels of three and four stars of the city have left the price of accommodation in 35 and 40 euros per person per night, depending on the category of the establishment and also offer the possibility of free accommodation for children up to age 12.
Tourists staying at these hotels can choose each day for free one of the tours made ​​by Cartagena Port of Cultures, as reported by the Councillor for Tourism, Palazón Carolina, who recalls that these activities are valued at over € 12 per person, so a family of four could save only visits about 50 euros per day to benefit from this offer.
The activities are able to accommodate all major routes launched during the summer, as the theatrical visit Pleasures of the Roman World, a night trip by boat with live music, guided route Carthago Nova: Theatre at the baths, or guided tour Defense and Attack, which includes a boat trip around the harbor.
Palazón thanked the cooperation of the hotel sector to join in a promotion that interests the whole city. It is not a new experience, in recent months, hotels and City Council have joined similar initiatives, such as that offered by campaigns central Spain on the bridge of May, or during the Night of Museums.
