Last days to register for Summer School Seniors.

Cartagena City Council, through its Department of Social Services, launched this summer Summer School V 2 to 12 July.

The deadline for registration is July 2.

Tuition costs 7 euros and can be formalized in the municipal, telephone or email, completing the registration the next day on July 2 at 9:30 pm in the Office of care for elderly and disabled of the Municipal Institute of Social Services ( C / Sor Francisca Armendáriz 1st floor. Edf La Milagrosa).

The schedule of the Summer Schools will be 10 to 12.30.

The councilman of Social Care, Antonio Calderón and the Director of Municipal Social Services Institute, Antonio Mule, inaugurated the course on 2 July at 10am.

They will close on July 12 at 12 with the awarding of diplomas.

With this initiative is to offer the elderly, who do not have the opportunity to travel to resort areas, meeting places where they will develop socio-cultural activities appropriate to their needs and demands.

Among the activities to be undertaken include specific workshops such as design, expressions, group dynamics, lectures, art, cooking, Laughter Therapy, Self-esteem and cultural visit.
