Summer Workshops for children in Cartagena Port of Cultures (19/06/2012)

The smallest have the possibility of approaching culture through children's workshops that take place during the months of June and July, in the summer programming of Cartagena Port of Cultures.

The workshop on Small Spies and the Roman City Build, make this offer, which takes place every Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon in June, and in the morning, in July, interpretation centers of the Roman Theatre and the Civil War Shelters.

Both workshops are aimed at families with children 6 to 12 years, and last approximately an hour and a half.

WORKSHOP PEQUEÃ'OS SPIES: MORSE CODE

This is a workshop which aims to transfer the smaller the importance of communication and the ways in which it was used in the Civil War era, are provided with information on intelligence, the importance of media communication and the various methods of espionage.

Children become real spies of the time, because after explaining each child takes a paper and looking through a game hidden messages using maps and flashlights to break the encryption code.

The workshop takes place every Tuesday during the months of June and July at 18.00 am in the Refuge and Museum of the Civil War.

ROMAN CITY BUILDING WORKSHOP

This is a fun workshop in which through a smaller model have the opportunity to build the city of Carthago Nova.

A guide who shows them the keys to the building of the ancient Roman city and how the journey through the Museum and the Roman Theatre.

The workshop is aimed at the knowledge of ancient Carthago Nova from the construction of a model of 63 parts, whose union forms an ideal Roman city walls, necropolis, administrative buildings and religious buildings show, etc..

The use of the teaching model used to specify all these aspects, creating an ideal city to help link the main buildings and its function remains preserved in the city and the Roman Theatre Mvseo own.
