For the tenth consecutive year, the A yuntamiento, through the Department of Women and the Law Society of Cartagena have signed a cooperation agreement to assist women victims of domestic violence.
The agreement was signed Mayor Pilar Barreiro and Dean of the Bar Association, José wheels, but also present the council of Women, Clara Heredia and Secretary of the Bar.
The document contains two legally lawyers advise women during the week.

In 2011 the lawyers of the 469 women attended council, of which 200 were for general inquiries and 269 needed to support domestic violence issues.
So far this year, January to April, 113 consultations were attended specialized in the council, while 134 have required a specialized legal support.
