The older vintage games to teach students the school Azorin (09/05/2012)

The major part yesterday in an intergenerational activity in Mills College Marfagones Azorin, where they taught children games Elementary fourth of his time.

The objective of this activity, which was also attended by the Councillor for Social Affairs, Antonio Calderon, was to share the experience and past experiences of older people, with the enthusiasm of the children.

To mark the European Day of Solidarity between Generations, the Municipal Social Services City of Cartagena conducts various activities between adults and youth to foster intergenerational relationships, enhance linkages and mutual understanding of children and adults, while activities are spread increasingly into disuse.

These activities are carried out with the major associations.

In 2002, the Second United Nations World Assembly recognized the need to strengthen solidarity between generations and intergenerational partnerships, keeping in mind the particular needs of older and younger and encourage mutually responsive relationships between generations.

The Secretary General of the United Nations said on the International Day of people over the challenge of aging for developing societies, so it does not become a burden but helps promote development through activities for these people.

European day of solidarity between generations is proposed that 2012 be declared the European Year of Active Ageing and Intergenerational Solidarity.
