The councilman of Social Care, Antonio Calderon, will receive on Wednesday, 9 May between 10 and 11 in the morning, fifty students in Social Education, University of Murcia, accompanied by the teacher of the subject of Social Pedagogy, Pedro Luis Moreno, will be in Cartagena to visit some of the institutions involved with Child Protection which the municipality.
The visit is included in the schedule of regular classes of that subject, and aims to meet directly some of the historic buildings that had to do with social education and the protective action of children throughout the eighteenth and nineteenth .
The Municipal Institute of Social Services is a collaborating center of the Practicum in the titles of Pedagogy, Psychology and Social Education School of Education at the University of Murcia.
This activity provides technical support with a Social Educator Technical Support Unit and Legal IMSS, which will act as a guide on the tour of parts of the building of La Milagrosa.
Also, give a little talk about the different stages through which socio have passed children who were in the House of Mercy in the last decades of the twentieth century and early twenty-first, talk to be held in one of the classrooms in the building.
