The Youth Space part 2 to May 5 in the TARGET European workshop: Non-formal education and youth employability in Varese (Lombardy, Italy), where he will share his conception and comprehensive service to young people, one of its main objectives to support this sector of the population.
The call is part of a two seminars, TARGET in Italy and in Spain, in Cartagena, ITINERE, which will have the same organizations involved in the two meetings in order to give continuity to the event to ensure the strategy project development and strengthening of international cooperation.
Kaleidoscope - Projects Factory (Italy) and INTER-ACTION (Spain) in collaboration with SPACE YOUTH of the Youth Council of the City of Cartagena, have developed an international strategy on the employability of young people, structured in two seminars.
This call is addressed to organizations and institutions active in this field, who wish to share experiences and create partnerships and networks.
This project arises from the need for youth organizations, youth groups and government agencies working with the Youth in Action Programme, to develop and improve employability and opportunities in international youth work.
The youth unemployment rate between 16 and 24 years in European Union countries is double the total unemployment rate, a problem that has worsened significantly with the crisis.
The number of young people seeking employment has increased four to five million since the beginning of the financial turmoil and youth unemployment currently stands at almost 21%.

TARGET and ITINERE offer a range of activities related to training and career guidance and counseling and consulting for job placement.
After the first meeting in Italy in June will do so in Cartagena.
