UPyD Cartagena accused the PP of practicing the opacity in the Consistory (07/04/2012)

Union, Progress and Democracy (UPyD) believes that the City of Cartagena must be accessible to all citizens by providing information, especially as it affects the economic resources

Transparency is a word that is managed with difficulty in this city for many years but need to end the "dedocracia" as a screening method for placing arbitrary "friends" on concessionaires or resort to self-designation in violation of the basic principles merit and equality seem to have been eradicated from the contracting processes, keeping in mind that our local government unfortunately ignores concepts such as resource optimization, and easy and clear access to the conditions of recruitment.

Corporate Commitment Foundation has released the first report of transparency on political parties, which shows that the Spanish political formations are shown opaque in the information they make available through its website.

The Transparency report, the best slogan has analyzed the political parties that have formed parliamentary group in the X Legislature Congress of Deputies

The results off the current political landscape is far from approaching the minimum transparency Foundation Corporate Commitment established as required in such important areas as "About Us" (83% compliance), "Government" (22%), "Structure policy "(20%)," People "(13%)," Affiliates "(42%)," Program "(53%)," Compliance "(9%) and" Financial Information "(3%).

The worst data is recorded in the latter indicator where no party, except UPyD, published financial statements and the explanatory notes to their accounts, worse if anything the situation by stating that none of them made public the report of an independent auditor, or display on their websites information about loans to the party or debts forgiven, and finally, no published report of the Court of Auditors.

This fact confirms the general perception of opacity, suspicion of illegality and lack of real control over the funding of political parties.

UPyD Coordinator, Fulgencio Egea, asks the PP sample and forward to the new transparency law that process the published national government, as provided in the standard contracts awarded in the last legislature and amount, signed agreements, subsidies and public aid or compensation received in investee companies to demonstrate to the Cartagena that their "numbers are reliable" and allows for external audit to know the facts about the great figures of budgets anticipating an state of unrest for many years for families in the region

Egea concluded by expressing his doubts about a law with too many limitations and exceptions to the full right to the information put on the table the true intentions of a party that is able to reward fiscal opacity
