Hall gives its side of reordering of the traditional Easter traffic (23/03/2012)

The mayor has issued the traditional side of rearrangement of traffic and other measures to be taken on the occasion of the celebration of the feast of Good Friday and Easter, which originate changes in both the passage of vehicles and parking thereof, on the town center and neighborhoods.

Restrictions on the hull will begin in the morning of March 30, the feast of Good Friday, by the passage of the procession of Cristo del Socorro, with a tour of the main downtown streets, opening the shows which will run along all week until Sunday.

That same day will extend the cuts in traffic in the center of both the holding of the Ounce of Gold and Floral Offering to the Virgin of Charity, like the Stations of the Cross procession of the Holy Christ of Divine Mercy and the Holy Christ of Mercy and the Virgin of the Rosary.

In general, from the 30th of March, from 9.00 hours to the discharge of chairs and assembly work boxes, stands and processions will prohibit parking and vehicle traffic to completion of the procession of the Risen One, on April 8, in the streets Air, Canyon, Plaza San Sebastian, Puertas de Murcia, Carmen, Santa Florentina, Park, Plaza Lopez Pinto, Merganser, Charity, Duke, Plaza San Gines, San Francisco Campos and Jara.

These restrictions will be extended to other streets and days, depending on the route of each of the processions, and also the neighborhoods that hold their own parades, such as Alum, The Aljorra, La Puebla, the Albujón, La Palma, Cabo de Palos , El Algar and Los Belones.

Remember that the pedestrian zone shall be governed by their own rules and in the streets affected by the reorganization of traffic during Holy Week allow the driveway to garage, Banks, Loading and Unloading, Public Works and Services in the morning prior authorization issued by Local Police Traffic.

However, the ban will be total from 9.00 hours until the end of the procession on Palm Sunday, Holy Wednesday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

Other issues included in the side of Mayor referred to the reminder to turn off the lighting on the route of the procession of Silence on Holy Thursday, activation of the Emergency Plan for Holy Week and changes in routes and bus schedules , extending to the end of the processions, and the affected taxi ranks.
