A total of thirteen turns, which will take place during the months of March, April and May have been organized for
participating in the fifth edition of Cures Program for seniors, held at the Hotel Entremares and will open, councilors Social Care, Antonio Ca lderón, and Tourism, Palazón Carolina on Thursday, March 1, with a meal at the hotel.
Aimed at people of the municipality in excess of 55 years, this initiative is organized by the Department of Social Care and Spa Hotel Entremares, with the aim of improving the quality of life of elderly in the municipality, as it facilitates the greater access to activities that can mitigate conditions related to rheumatism, dermatological and other diseases.
The duration of each shift is 6 days and 5 nights, with entrance on Sunday at 17:00 and departure Friday at 12:00 hours, including full board, daily bathing in the sea breeze Biopiscina: covered outdoor spa, with seawater, with cervical jets and water bikes, access to the heated pool, two bathrooms in the four Carthaginesas Spa, free use of preventive healthcare services in the pool and Thermal Leisure activities, as well as free use of gym Hotel, conference talks about the benefits of Thalassotherapy, Advice and individualized treatments.
In addition, all participants must pass a medical report, as it is a therapeutic activity.
In previous editions of this program have involved about 500 people.
The City of Cartagena is the fifteenth in Spain that focuses on the spas and healthcare services for seniors, joining other parts of the country that have launched this initiative, such as Madrid, Vizcaya and Fuengirola.
