Councillor for Festivities, Florentina Garcia Vargas, today announced the launch of a new website dedicated to the Carnival of Cartagena, a collaborative effort between the Party Commission and the Office of Communications and the City of Cartagena Protocol, which aims to encourage greater participation and dissemination of the carnival in the city on the Internet and social networks.
This page includes extensive graphics and audiovisual content, highlighting the large number of photographs that illustrate each of the sections and videos that have been collected from youtube and new ones will be added gradually.
The jokes have their parades and special section, with specific pages that include a brief written record of each, along with photographs and videos.
The program of events and day to day of the Carnival will also be able to continue through today and a news section where you will be informed of everything that is related to the holidays.
Finally, the site includes a facebook window, from which the Commission will ensure the presence and growth of festivals in social networks, launching initiatives and calls, and by involving the Internet.
In this line of harness new technologies for the dissemination of the Carnival in the coming days will submit an application developed by the Data Processing Center of the City of Cartagena intended for mobile devices.
