Port of Cultures in a book reconstructs the history of Cartagena (17/01/2012)

Reflected centuries of archaeological history in just over a hundred pages.

The Punic Wall, House of Fortune, the Augusteum and other interpretive centers and museums in Cartagena Port of Cultures share book to put the finishing touch to the celebrations of the tenth anniversary of tourism consortium.

Cartagena Port of Cultures, in collaboration with the City Council has prepared a brochure that highlights the work done by the institution to recover and to value the heritage of the city.

The Councillor for Tourism, Palazón Carolina, the director general of Cultural Property, Francisco Giménez, and the manager of the Port of Cultures, Agustina Martinez this morning presented the volume to be sold in museum shops in the city.

The book is written chronologically follows the work of excavation, recovery and musealization of different remains found in the port city.
