The mayor recalled in the side of the ban on Christmas celebrations in non-authorized (21/12/2011)

The mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, has issued the usual Christmas Bando which recalls the ban on parties, dances, celebrations and shows various illegal premises without authorization or special.

In this way the local police monitor and report on those parties, shows and public recreation can be held in the town especially on Christmas Eve, Eve and the eve of Epiphany, which exceed the terms of the licensing of public premises.

The decree also empowers local police to take the necessary measures to ensure road safety and traffic flow during the holidays, while determines the streets will be blocked off to traffic or suffer restrictions on the celebration of the festivities.

Thus, in order to promote pedestrian mobility axes from the port to the squares of Spain and John XXIII, will remain restrictions to traffic on the street Carmen, Soap, Canal Street section between Carmen and Calle de La Palma, San Roque, Child, Oven, Puertas de Murcia, Plaza de San Sebastian, Santa Florentina and Conduit, except in the latter two which will allow access for loading and unloading, Monday through Friday, except holidays, the hours of 08.00 to 11.00 hours.

Because of the celebration of the traditional Ride of Kings, will establish the following prohibitions on Thursday, January 5:

Parking will be prohibited from 9.00 am on the street Doctor Pérez Espejo, and from 15.00 hours on the following streets, Sparta (from Paseo Alfonso XIII to Doctor Pérez Espejo street), Paseo Alfonso XIII, (from Ripoll to Captains Juan Fernandez) Juan Fernandez, (from Paseo Alfonso XIII to Plaza de Juan XXIII), Plaza de Juan XXIII, Madrid and Toulouse doors Latour (from Madrid to Sagasta doors).

The placing on the movement of vehicles from 09.00 hours on same day, January 5, 2012 in Calle Doctor Pérez Espejo.

From 17.30 hours will prevent the traffic on the following streets: Sparta (from Jacinto Benavente to Paseo Alfonso XIII), Paseo Alfonso XIII (from Captains Ripoll Plaza of Spain), Juan Fernandez Street (from Plaza de Juan XXIII Paseo de Alfonso XIII), Plaza de Juan XXIII, Madrid and Toulouse doors Latour (from Madrid to Sagasta doors), and throughout the interior of the polygon defined by the route of the Three Kings.
