The Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, accompanied by other members of the municipal corporation will attend on Friday December 16 at the opening of Bethlehem Municipal installed in the Plaza San Francisco, a traditional act and also coincides with the lighting on announcing the arrival of Christmas in Cartagena.
The inauguration will take place at 19.00 hours and will feature the Choir of the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena, acting on the Plaza for all attendees.
Also, will open the houses of storytelling and chestnut, and the carousel, activities for children that will be free during the inauguration.
For children, they can come dressed as Christmas characters, there will be gifts and souvenirs.
As for the Bethlehem Municipal, consisting of more than 300 figures, work of Nicolás Almansa and Juan Antonio Griñán, this year again be covered by a roof that protects these small works of art from the fall of the balls that are the fruit of the trees of the square.
