The Municipal Institute of City Council Social Services has scheduled the course Cartagena Discover your city and customs aimed at elderly and disabled to be launched next Tuesday, November 8 and end on February 14, 2012.
In this training will involve a group of 25 people between 65 and 70, with the aim of bringing the elderly and disabled people the knowledge of the environment, heritage and culture of the city where they live.
A total of 12 sessions, alternating theory and practice.
The lectures will take place in the classroom over the building of the Miracle on Tuesdays from 11:00 to 13:00 hours, while the course is complemented by visits to various museums, buildings and environment highlights the Archaeological Park of winch, the Castillo de la Concepción or building and the Military Arsenal captaincy.
The course Discover your city and its customs aims to achieve improved social relationships and group of the elderly and disabled, develop curiosity and knowledge of the environment, enhance self-esteem and cognitive skills through the various activities of this course.
