Cartagena is full of tourists (26/10/2011)

The port is experiencing a veritable avalanche of cruise these last days of October.

Five cruise ships with more than 14,000 tourists will stop in the city until next Monday.

This morning the first of them, the Celebrity Eclipse, Celebrity Cruises company, which has visited us three times since September and has brought nearly 3,000 tourists on board.

The ship will be in town from eleven o'clock until seven o'clock.

The Liberty is considered the second largest cruise ship in the world (behind sister ships Oasis of the Seas and Freedom of the Seas).

It weighs 160,000 tons, has a length of 340 meters and a width of 40 meters.

But besides its size, its price is also spectacular, as they build cost about $ 800 million.

Another great ship of the Royal Caribbean Voyager of the Seas, with over 3,000 passengers, will call at the port 31 on Monday, closing an intense month of October that has filled the city with visitors.
